Indonesia is the largest mobile market in Southeast Asia with over 40 million CDMA subscribers. Over the past 3 years, the market has witnessed explosive growth and has come to be dominated by three major players. Growth is projected to continue at 20% through 2012. With a solid base of subscribers, operators' attentions have turned to generating additional revenue by offering value added and high speed wireless services via EV-DO networks. One of the unique characteristics of Indonesia is the overwhelming preponderance of social networking services accessed via mobile phones. This has driven demand for feature-rich phones at every price tier.
OMH was launched in Indonesia in April 2010 with an unprecedented gathering of all the major CDMA operators, setting the stage for OMH devices to begin arriving in market. The first OMH device, the Samsung Corby Pro began selling in Indonesia in June 2010 and several additional models are planned for launch during the balance of 2010.

The open market in Indonesia is focused on high-end feature phones on 1X and EVDO for upgrade and ARPU enhancement. Both local Indonesian brands and global brands compete in all segments and the Indonesian operators offer strong bundling support to promote high-end devices. All five Indonesian CDMA Operators have launched OMH in the market. Please contact your OMH Device lead for more information on current opportunities and how you can benefit.
